Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 30, 2026
1. Who we are
Precious Leads (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a lead management service operated by Precious Leads LLC, a limited liability company registered in the United States. For any privacy question or request, contact us at contact@preciousleads.com.
This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. It applies to our websites and the Precious Leads application (together, the “Service”).
2. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and password (stored hashed, never in plain text). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google; we never receive your Google password.
Lead data you upload
The Service exists to store the leads and contacts that you and your team add — via manual entry, CSV import, webhooks, Zapier, or our API. This data may include names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, and any custom fields you define.
For lead data, you are the data controller and we are the data processor. We store and process this data only to provide the Service to you, we never sell it, and we never use it for advertising or to contact your leads.
Payment information
Paid subscriptions are processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store your full card number or banking credentials on our servers; we receive only what we need to manage your subscription (such as plan, billing status, and the last digits of your card).
Usage and technical data
We collect standard technical information when you use the Service: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and actions performed. We use this to keep the Service secure, diagnose problems, and improve the product. See our Cookie Policy for details on cookies.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Create and manage your account and your team’s access
- Process subscription payments
- Send transactional emails (verification, password resets, invitations, security codes)
- Respond to support requests
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your lead data for marketing.
4. Legal bases
Where laws such as the GDPR apply, we process personal information on these bases: performance of our contract with you (providing the Service), our legitimate interests (security, product improvement), your consent (where required, e.g. non-essential cookies), and compliance with legal obligations.
5. How we share information
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers that help us run the Service (hosting and infrastructure, email delivery, payment processing, error monitoring), bound by contracts that limit their use of the data
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect our legal rights
- A successor entity, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case this policy continues to apply to previously collected data
6. International transfers
Our servers may be located in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for international transfers.
7. Data retention
We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. Lead data is retained until you delete it or your account is deleted. When you delete data, it is removed from active systems promptly and from backups within a reasonable period. See our Data Deletion Instructions for how to request deletion.
8. Security
We protect your data with industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, role-based access controls inside your account, and additional email verification for sensitive actions. No system is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe and will notify you of any breach as required by law.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information
- Export your information in a portable format (you can export your leads to CSV at any time)
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@preciousleads.com. If your leads are stored in a Precious Leads account owned by another business (for example, your employer), we may direct your request to that business, as they are the controller of that data.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email before the changes take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the current version.
